Our Emporium – Go Shopping is a section on our blog that we wanted to keep separate from our own posts about our Food adventures.

Not only have we shared amazing adventures in food, but we also have many shared years of retail experience in the cookware/tableware and restaurant supply industry. We still get a thrill when we read about or use a new piece of great cookware (in reality, we are cookware ‘Geeks’).

Consequently we are asked often for advice on such as pans, cooks knives, general cookware and modern tableware and gardening equipment, food etc. We’ve recently moved house, and have to renovate both the house and the garden, so guess who’s excited about starting afresh with decor, furnishings, a new kitchen and flower garden?

But when we came up with the idea of a food blog, we never intended to sell goods at all. We just wanted to write about our experiences with anything and everything to do with Food. Amazingly certain companies contacted us and said that they really loved the free publicity we gave them, and suggested that we ought to benefit from our enthusiasm at using their products and become Affiliates, and, in return, we could earn a tiny percentage of anything our readers bought through our site.

So, we came to the conclusion that we could pass on our knowledge to our readers with up-to-date, in-depth cookware advice, write about our own experiences of gadgets and cookware, food, furniture, a new kitchen, kitchen garden tips and successes as well as creating a shopping section for our food blog, called ‘The Emporium’.
