appeared on a search site but it just appears without a name.
But to whoever you are, the answer is a big YES.

I’ve been using Strong White Bread Flour for years for my Yorkshire Puddings.

It gives the Yorkshire Puddings a crispy outside and top edge, whilst a perfect middle.

Hi Serina, I have been using strong white bread flour for many years now, always for my Yorkshire puddings. Living in East Yorksire, we often eat individual 10 – 12cm ones filled up with homemade gravy before the main meal, which my 5 grandchildren love, then if we have room, I make smaller ones to go with the main meal. Enjoy. xx Astrid.

Thanks, and a picture for proof too. This’ll kill two birds with one stone as I’m off to my friend’s who have a bread-maker, which I use to knead my bread dough to make bread, sans me actually doing it by hand, and I also have to make (Quorn sausage) Toad in the Hole there too.

Hi JUNE – Yes, I always use strong white bread flour for my Yorkshire puds and I add an egg for each person. Add enough milk to the mix to make a smooth but not watery batter mix. Make the mix up early, whisking well then leave until just before time to cook them. Give one more quick whisk before pouring into the baking tin (tins).
    REGARDS
    Astrid. xx
