Just couldn’t resist putting a picture of my Easter Egg Pavlova dessert on to show you how proud I am. Erik and I were having the family to stay, which included Grandaughter Emily and Grandson Archie. So I had to come up with a fun dessert. And, even if I say it myself, it was delicious!
This was created just by using a basic 5 egg-white pavlova mix, with the addition of a tablespoon of sieved cocoa powder. Lots of double cream whipped up thickly, lots of little chocolate eggs and then the final touch – me pretending to be Jackson Pollock with lots of carefully melted dark chocolate (with a knob of butter added), and a big fork and just having fun. Was so thrilled how it turned out, and even more thrilled by the taste of my Easter Egg Pavlova.
And would you believe it – we ate it all up. Very yummy!!
