Happy Christmas to All

Just wanted to wish everyone, wherever you are in the world, a very happy Christmas to all, and may 2018 be a more peaceful and empowering year for all of us.

I also wanted to apologise for the lack of posts on our blog this year, due to another bout of cancer, but my doctors are very pleased with the way I ‘m responding to the treatments, so, as I’ve said to my sons, ‘you won’t get rid of me that quickly.’ It has affected my appetite, but I still get excited by food, recipes and cheffy items, and as the owner of a fabulous new kitchen, I feel duty-bound to explore its possibilities in every way. So with appetite returning gradually, I will take back the cooking duties from Erik (if he lets me) and immerse myself in the world of food, both growing and eating it.

  over the last few years, my dry mix is already in my freezer, waiting for Christmas morning. I just love the lemony/herby smell that fills the room when I take the tin out of the oven. And I am really looking forward to my Christmas dinner. That must be a good sign. So once more, wishing you a Happy Christmas to All, wherever you are in the World.
